Q: How about the VAT?

A: Some of these yachts are sold vithout EURO VAT paid. This means the new owner should pay VAT which corresponds to the tax legislation in the country where the boat will primarily be used. That is in general correct, but you must also be aware of that there are a vast range of exemptions and possibilities to reduce the costs, and in some cases you can avoid the whole VAT costs. Boats can be incorporated in companies, offshore flagged, etc. We have skilled solicitors connected to our company for the best legal advise to avoid unwanted costs.

Q: How to deal with a possible transport?

A: We have an agreement with a Slovenian yacht transport company. This means we can offer better price than any ather company on road transports up to 60 feet yachts. Our company are specialized in yachts and have the latest fleet of trucks and trailers. Naturally can we offer transports even if you not purchased through our organization.

When it comes to transports when a sailing crew is required we can also offer this option. As we build yachts in the Far East and China, we have good channels for sea transports from that part of the world.

Q: Can you arrange surveys?

A: The best surveyor is yourself. We strongly advise you to see the boat for a personal inspection. On top of this we can give you a list of authorized surveyors in the area. Some yacht dense locations like Croatia, France, Spain, Italy and Britain are very easy to find surveyors. There are naturally other countries which this can be a problem, but normally this only means we need as little extra time to arrange.

Q: We need a good insurance policy - Can you help?
A: We are co-operating with Mr. Per Louis Stephensen and his company Marine Insurance Consultant located in Stromstad on the Swedish westcoast. They can provide the best possible insurance policies with some of the best companies out there. It doensn't matter if the boat is 100 years old, a supertanker or a Maxi 77 for singlehand round-the-world cruise. Important also to note that they give full confidentiality and under no condition report the insurance value to tax authorities.
